My paintings are mainly produced using acrylic paint over triple primed canvas.
The size of canvas can vary but is usually 20 x 20, 24 x 24 or 24 x 36. All canvasses are professionally finished, coming as a 3.8cm width which gives a nice chunky feel to the work. Paintings are always painted on the sides of the canvas too, so they are ready to hang with no need to frame them.
Below is an example of the finishing on my 36 x 24 canvasses. Smaller canvasses are also stapled at the back so no staples, tacks etc are on show on the sides of the frames
The paint I use is usually manufactured by Winsor and Newton or Daler Rowney. Acrylic paints are extremely hard wearing and durable, offering a long lasting pieces of artwork which will retain their colour and vibrancy for many years.
